Poster - The Old Pubs of Surry Hills

The old suburb of Surry Hills, one of Sydney's inner suburbs, is famous for its nineteen fantastic heritage pubs. However, it was long forgotten that this historical suburb has had eighty-nine pubs in its history!

The historians at Talking Walls have uncovered all the old pubs, hotels, inns and taverns that were found along the streets and laneways and compiled them into a poster.

This large colour poster lists the eighty-nine pubs that once existed in Surry Hills from 1833 to the present. Including the nineteen pubs still operating.

It includes fifty-nine images, the majority being from the historical archives.  

This is a must-have for any enthusiasts of old pubs, Sydney history or people who are fascinated by the history of Surry Hills.
